One of the chairs for the quilt show Janice Minyard said many of the pieces on display are forms of artistic expression.

“As quilters, we’re artists. We’re fabric artists,” Minyard said. “Whether we make traditional quilts or very modern quilts… we like to produce because it’s an artistic outlet.”

Minyard said they are already planning for next year’s show.

The event runs at the Madonna Expo Center today, Saturday June 29th until 5 p.m. and tomorrow, June 30th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is $10.
