UPDATE (3:55 p.m.) – Santa Maria police confirm a motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a semi-tractor trailer truck off Broadway Saturday afternoon.
The freeway entrance and exits for Broadway are closed on Highway 101 in both directions.
ORIGINAL STORY (2:15 p.m.) – Santa Maria police responded to a fatal traffic collision near North Broadway and Preisker Lane Saturday afternoon.
The police department tweeted about the crash at 2:04 p.m.
They reported road closures in the area for the next several hours.
They couldn’t give us any more information, but we have a crew on the way.
