Lompoc police have put a convicted felon and known gang member back behind bars after they say a man was found with a loaded gun and drugs.
According to police, officers responded to the 1300 block of W. Maple Ave. at about 11:15 p.m. Thursday after receiving calls about a man armed with a gun.
When officers arrived, police say they found 32-year-old James Jones with a loaded revolver and methamphetamine.
Jones was booked into the Lompoc jail on drug and firearm charges as well as for violating his probation and gang injunction.
