The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspected cocaine dealer Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office says members of the Special Investigations Bureau served a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of S. Voluntario Street. Before the search warrant, investigators say Jaime Orozco, 26 of Santa Barbara, was stopped in a vehicle in the 100 block of West Cabrillo Boulevard.

Detectives say they located more than $4,000 in cash inside the vehicle, as well as items indicating narcotics sales.

During the search of his home, investigators say they located four semi-automatic handguns with ammunition. One of the guns was reportedly a “ghost gun,” which means it didn’t have a serial number.

Detectives served a second search warrant at another residence associated with Orozco in the 800 block of Cliff Drive.

Detectives say they located 2.2 ounces of cocaine, worth an estimated $2,400.

Orozco was arrested on suspicion of possession for sales of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm without a serial number.

He is being held on $30,000 bail at the Santa Barbara County Jail.
