Some streets in Arroyo Grande are expected to be closed off for up to two hours after a large crane hit power lines, causing a power outage.
Arroyo Grande Police sent out an alert about the incident just after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say the crane hit power lines on Cornwall Avenue, causing power outages and road closures in the area.
The intersections of Cornwall Avenue and Bell Street, as well as Cornwall Avenue and Oak Street, are closed.
People are asked to avoid the area for one to two hours while PG&E makes repairs.
According to the PG&E outage map, 28 customers were without power in Arroyo Grande as of 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. PG&E’s website says power should be restored by 1:30 p.m.
