The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says up to 15,000 people went to Deltopia, an unsanctioned spring break party in Isla Vista this year.
Saturday’s warm weather likely brought the big crowds to the college town.
Officials say ‘most everyone’ was cooperative over the weekend, with most of the crowd thinning out by 6 p.m. to attend a concert at the Thunderdome.
Deputies say there were ‘no major incidents’ during Deltopia, but there were a number of arrests, citations, and ambulance transports. Official statistics have not yet been released.
