Tuesday’s forecast is still a bit unstable but one thing to expect is cloudy skies. There is a 30% chance of rain for cities between Santa Maria and the north coast in San Luis Obispo County.
The weak cold front responsible for the rain will also bring temperatures down quite a bit. Daytime highs will range from the mid to upper 60s and 10-25 west to southwesterly winds are in the forecast through late Tuesday.
More rain is in the forecast for the end of the week. A low-pressure system could bring another round of light, misty rain Thursday with an increased chance of rain Friday. Right now, weather models are indicating this second system will also be light and is not expected to produce much rain.
