Organizers of the 31st Annual Live Oak Music Festival announced several new acts at the popular music festival Thursday.

The festival was held at Live Oak Camp in Santa Barbara County for 29 years, but this year the event will be held at El Chorro Regional Park in San Luis Obispo.

The three-day festival runs from June 21 through June 23, and it’s designed for people of all ages.

17 acts are confirmed for the 2019 festival so far, and organizers say more will be announced as the event gets closer.

Confirmed performers include Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore with the Guilty Ones, Antibalas, Bombino, Shinyribs, T Sisters, John Craigie, Orquesta Akokán, Soul Scratch, The Sons of the Soul Revivers, Arthur Watership, Phil Salazar and The Kin Folk, The Ghost of Paul Revere, The Sam Chase & The Untraditional, Chris Beland and Harmony, Brass Mash, The Upside, and The Cimo Brothers.

Festival-goers can also check out local food, wine and beer, and activities. There’s even a talent show for children and teens.

Organizers announced that the festival was moving back in August. They said some of the reasons for moving the festival included reduced fire danger, improved water supply for dust control, better infrastructure, grant support from the city, and more moderate temperatures.

Proceeds from the music festival benefit KCBX Public Radio.
