A Grover Beach man is the Window Cleaning World Cup Champion.
Jeremiah Hickey, 42, won the World Cup of Window Cleaning at the Cleaning Show Excel in London on Wednesday.
Hickey was already the fastest window cleaner in the U.S. He won the 2019 International Window cleaning Association event in San Diego earlier this year, making him the American speed window cleaning champion.
This week, he became the world champion after cleaning three regulation-sized windows in just 17.02 seconds.
Hickey even beat Terry ‘Turbo’ Burrows, who set the Guinness World Record in 1995 with a time of just 16.28 seconds.
HIckey’s business, On The Spot Window Cleaning, has been open in Pismo Beach since 1998.
