29 people are displaced following a fire at a Paso Robles apartment complex.
The fire broke out around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Alamo Creek, not far from Virginia Peterson Elementary School.
Firefighters arrived and found fire and smoke coming from a second story apartment.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to one unit and prevent the fire from spreading to seven other units, however, the building’s electrical system was damaged. Firefighters say all of the units in the complex are now unsafe to live in.
The more than two dozen people who were displaced are working with the Red Cross to find temporary housing.
