According to the district’s Facebook page, Overton has been with the district for the last nine years working as a science teacher, activities director, and Vice Principal at Paso Robles High School.

He received the Teacher of the Year award at the high school in 2015.

Overton earned his Bachelor’s Degree, Credential, and Master’s Degree at Cal Poly.

Overton says he is thankful for the opportunity and looks forward to working with the amazing team of teachers at Paso Robles High School.

Last month, Eric Martinez announced he would be leaving his position as principal at the end of the school year. He said he made the decision in order to be closer to his family.
