Santa Maria residents can now apply for a passport at the city’s public library.
The city announced that its library will begin accepting applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State starting Monday, March 11.
Only new passport applications will be processed, not renewals.
U.S. citizens planning to travel internationally may make an appointment with the library to apply for a passport on the following days and times:
- Mondays: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursdays: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
