The Santa Maria Fire Department is investigating two separate incidents involving pedestrians being hit by a car.
The first incident was reported just before 7 p.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of W. Main Street.
A tweet from the fire department says one person was transported with moderate injuries.
A separate incident was reported just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 700 block of E. Orange.
The fire department says a person with moderate injuries was transported.
The Santa Maria Police Department and AMR responded to both scenes.
