Caltrans is warning drivers to be aware of a possible Highway 1 closure through Big Sur, ahead of an incoming storm.
Crews may close the highway at Mud Creek and Paul’s slide, saying the storm could cause landslides and dangers to drivers. They have closed the road several times this year because of landslide dangers.
Caltrans will issue an update on the roadway Monday, either confirming or canceling the closure.
