Recent rainfall has caused a major shift at Lake Nacimiento. Lake levels are on the rise, and people are taking notice.
The lake reached 65 percent capacity, up more than ten percent from just a week ago. The Lake has received 12.6 inches of rain this year.

By this time last year, Lake Nacimiento only saw about three inches of rain and less than ten inches by the time the year was over.
Considering the stormy weather, not many people were out enjoying the lake on Sunday. Once the weather dries out, park officials expect there to be a spike in recreation.
