The Templeton Fire Stairclimb Team has been sponsored by an anonymous donor, who announced that he will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for up to 15,000 dollars to the Firefighters with Flowers for a Cure fundraiser.

The anonymous donor is a cancer survivor and is in full support of the Templeton Firefighter Stairclimb Team. The Firefighters with Flowers for a Cure benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in their efforts to help find a cure for all cancers.

This is the third year the team is having the six-day Valentine’s Day flower sale in support of the cause.

Firefighters will race up 69 flights of stairs up the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle.

This year the Templeton Fire Department will be climbing in honor of Stephanie Rothbauer who is currently battling leukemia.
