Four injured in head-on collision in Lompoc

Santa Barbara County Fire Department officials say four people were injured in a head-on collision on Highway 1 and Santa Lucia Road in Lompoc.

Captain Dave Zaniboni says one patient was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center with ‘moderate’ injuries. Three others were transported to Lompoc Valley Medical Center with ‘minor’ injuries.

The crash happened around 8:30 Sunday night. Southbound lanes of Highway 1 remain closed, according to the CHP Incident Information Page.

The crash is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol. Vandenberg Air Force Base Fire Department also responded to the scene.
