Paso Robles firefighters say three people were able to escape a fire Friday.
The fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. at a home in the 900 block of St. Ann Drive, near the Paso Robles Golf Club.
Firefighters arrived at the scene within four minutes of the fire starting. Crews say there was heavy fire and smoke coming from a garage.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading inside the home. Three people were there at the time, but they were all able to get out safely.
One person was examined for smoke inhalation.
The fire was contained within about 20 minutes.
The cause is under investigation.
