More than 1500 PG&E customers are without power in the Avila Beach area.
According to PG&E’s outage map, 1,546 customers are impacted by the outage. It started around 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
PG&E crews are on scene making repairs. The utility believes the outage was caused by an equipment issue.
Power is expected to be restored by midnight.
