Attorneys for actor Kevin Spacey entered a “not guilty” plea on his behalf Monday to a felony charge of indecent assault and battery.
Spacey is accused of groping an 18-year-old waiter in a Massachusetts restaurant in July 2016.
The 59-year-old was surrounded by the media as he entered the hearing at Nantucket District Court.
The judge ordered Spacey to stay away from his accuser and the man’s family and set another hearing for March 4.
Spacey does not have to appear at that hearing.
If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.
