California State Parks is inviting people to usher in 2019 in a fun and healthy way with a First Day Hike.
More than 60 complimentary, guided hikes will be provided in more than 40 parks across the state.
In San Luis Obispo County, locations include Hearst San Simeon State Park, Morro Bay State Park, Morro Strand State Beach, Morro Strand State Park and Pismo State Beach.
There will be guided hikes on trails at those locations.
In Santa Barbara County, Carpinteria State Park will also be participating.
