It was a cloudy Friday for most of the Central Coast, bringing some sprinkles and chillier temperatures.

A much different story expected for Saturday, as skies are expected to be sunny and clear.

Out on the water, there is still a high surf advisory that now could be upgraded to a high surf warning Sunday! Waves could be between 18 and 23 feet going into Monday. Make sure you swim near a lifeguard stand and monitor wave reports if you plan on hitting the water. The winds are currently not strong enough for a small craft advisory.

Rain is expected now Sunday night and continuing into Monday morning. The showers might take a brief pause during the day before returning late Monday afternoon. Models are still showing most places on the Central Coast receiving less than half an inch of rain.

A warming trend is expected once the showers end on Monday, with some places in Santa Barbara County seeing temperatures in the high 70’s by Thursday!
