The NYPD is investigating a possible bomb threat at the Time Warner Center.

CNN’s New York offices were evacuated as a precaution, but the all-clear was given shortly before 9 p.m. PST.

CNN Anchor Don Lemon tweeted about the incident just before 8 p.m. PST Thursday, saying he was evacuated in the middle of his live show.

A police official tells NBC New York that an unsubstantiated telephone threat came into the building. The caller claimed there were five bombs in the building.

Police didn’t locate anything during a preliminary search but evacuated the area as a precaution.

CNN was targeted in a wave of pipe bombs mailed to the network as well as to critics of President Donald Trump back in October. None of the devices exploded, and no one was injured. The suspect, Cesar Sayoc, of Florida, was arrested and indicted on more than 30 federal charges. Those charges included the use of a weapon of mass destruction. He could face life in prison if convicted.
