UPDATE (3:10 p.m.) – All northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 5 through the Grapevine have reopened.
(11:59 a.m.) – The California Highway Patrol and Caltrans have closed both directions of Interstate 5 at the Grapevine because of snow.
The interstate is closed from Parker Road in Castaic to Grapevine Road. It’s unknown how long the closure will last.

Caltrans suggests drivers who need an alternate route between Bakersfield and Los Angeles take eastbound Highway 58 to southbound Highway 14.
