Santa Barbara County Firefighters rescued a horse on Thursday afternoon that became entangled in a metal fence.
Firefighters said that a 12-year-old Rocky Mountain mare got her rear legs stuck in a fence at Via Esperanza and Via Tranquila in Hope Ranch in Santa Barbara shortly after 12:30 p.m. The horse was likely trying to jump over the fence but got stuck.
