No additional human remains were found in the Camp Fire Wednesday.

This marks the third night there were no additional deaths reported. The death toll stands at 88.

The number of people who are unaccounted for rose slightly to 196, up from 158 Tuesday. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office says the number increased because first responders just finished going through the backlog of missing person reports.

2,913 people who were at one point listed as missing have been accounted for.

First responders are keeping a close eye on the weather conditions in the Camp Fire burn scar. An inch of rain is expected overnight, and a quarter to half an inch could fall Thursday. Forecasters say it is possible roads in and out of the burn area could see snow overnight.
