A San Luis Obispo CHP officer suffered minor injuries after her patrol vehicle was struck while she was helping a driver with a flat tire.
The CHP says Officer Molinar was helping the driver on Highway 101 south of Marsh Street Monday morning.
The driver had pulled into the center divider with a flat tire. Officer Molinar parked her patrol vehicle behind the car and put her lights on, but another driver hit the back end of the patrol vehicle.
Both Officer Molinar and the driver of the car that collided into the patrol vehicle had minor injuries.
The CHP says thankfully the patrol vehicle prevented the other car from colliding into the driver who was changing their flat tire.
