Cooking the large Thanksgiving dinner can be stressful and dangerous if you’re not careful.

Experts say you should avoid loose or dangling clothing while cooking, especially around flames. Make sure you always use oven mitts.

There will most likely be numerous pots and pans on the stovetop. Make sure the handles are away from the edge so they won’t be knocked over.

When you’re ready to carve the turkey you spent all day cooking, be careful. Always use a sharp knife and make sure the cutting board is on a non-skid pad.

Also, drink responsibly. Everyone wants to be thankful that they made it home safe and sound.
