UPDATE (2:45 p.m.) – Los Osos Valley Road is back open after a small grass fire near the Los Osos Valley Memorial Park on Tuesday afternoon.
Just one fire engine remained on scene.
(2:30 p.m.) – Traffic on Los Osos Valley Road east of Los Osos is at a standstill Tuesday afternoon following reports of a small grass fire.
The California Highway Patrol emergency logs indicate that a grass fire broke out near Los Osos Valley Memorial Park shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday. A SIG Alert was issued at 2:02 p.m. but canceled by 2:15 p.m.
No other details were immediately available.
