KSBY’s Season on Hope drive is in full swing and it’s the largest food and toy drive on the Central Coast.

SLO Vettes, the Corvette Club of San Luis Obispo County, swung by the CHP offices in San Luis Obispo on Saturday to drop off some holiday cheer.

For at least a decade, the club has been donating toys to kids who wouldn’t normally receive a gift on Christmas.

“This is the time of year when all of the good feelings are supposed to come out, and they do and what a wonderful opportunity for anybody that wants to donate to find an organization like Lisa’s that reaches out to the whole community,” said Russ Surber, President of the Corvette Club of San Luis Obispo.

Surber says the club likes to donate toys to Children’s Resources Center and Season of Hope because everything donated goes to someone on the Central Coast- meaning someone in their neighborhood could be getting some of those toys.
