Firefighters are responding to a structure fire in northern San Luis Obispo County.
CAL FIRE says the first call came in around 8:20 p.m. Thursday. They received a call that a barn was on fire in the 1600 block of Negranti Road. Firefighters say the location is not far outside Morro Bay City limits.
CAL FIRE says the initial report it that the barn was destroyed. Firefighters are working to contain the fire to the structure right now.
Public Information Officer Chris Elms says there are concerns because of the weather conditions, but they’re working to make sure the fire doesn’t spread beyond the barn area.
There was no immediate word whether anyone was inside the barn at the time of the fire.
