A “proposition party” is taking place Monday night to tell voters about what’s on the upcoming election ballot and what each side of the propositions mean.
There will be no involved parties or candidates distributing materials at the event, which organizers say is being held to help people feel prepared for the election.
The proposition party is being put on by SLO U40, SLO Scoop and The Young Professionals Networking Group at Luis Wine Bar, 1021 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The group asks for everyone to RSVP through Eventbrite.
