Nipomo High School’s Future Farmers of America program is getting some major recognition.
The California Agricultural Teachers’ Association named Nipomo FFA as the number one chapter in the state of California.
Each chapter is judged based on California student performance statistics.
Nipomo FFA was also awarded the Chapter of the Year in the Santa Barbara Section.
“I really think this is a pinnacle for Nipomo FFA and something for the community to rally around,” said California FFA Association State Vice President Kyler Vernon.
Nipomo FFA participates in a number of events throughout the year, including the Santa Barbara County Fair and several leadership conferences across the state.
