Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office searching for burglary suspect

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help finding a burglary suspect.

Deputies say the burglary happened around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 6600 block of Hollister Avenue in Goleta.

Investigators say a woman walked into Deckers Brand Showcase and appeared to be shopping. Deputies say she picked up more than $2,200 worth of merchandise and then ran out of the store and into the back parking lot.

She was last seen in a light blue, GM, long-bed truck with a logo on the side. Sheriff’s deputies searched the area, but couldn’t find the truck.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian female, in her fifties, with short blonde hair. She’s approximately 5’6″ tall and 130 pounds.
