Allan Hancock College partnering with university to offer bachelor’s degrees

Allan Hancock College students will soon be able to get bachelor’s degrees at the college.

The school will sign an agreement with the University of La Verne on Monday to launch several bachelor’s degree programs. Students will be able to receive degrees in public administration, business administration, and organizational management onsite at Hancock district locations.

The partnership between the two schools will begin in January of 2019. Students who have completed at least two semesters at Hancock can be eligible for a 50 percent tuition scholarship to any University of La Verne undergraduate degree program.

An official signing ceremony on the partnership will be held Monday in the Allan Hancock College Boardroom.
