Meathead Wine Storage announced Monday that they will open a new supplementary wine storage facility for their clients in early 2019.

After opening their first wine storage facility in San Luis Obispo in 2014, Meathead Wine Storage decided to expand their services to a second building to house wine shipments and wine club deliveries.

The facility will cater to the needs of wine lovers, with monitored temperature and humidifying systems, a 24-hour surveillance system and back-up power plan in check.

“With the Central Coast being an iconic landmark for wineries, it was no wonder why we wanted to expand our ingenuity by embarking in this endeavor of opening a wine storage facility in the community,” said Aaron Steed, president and CEO of Meathead Movers. “We take pride in our relentless drive to keep customers satisfied and this venture was just one more thing we could do to continue meeting our promise of superior customer service and first-class amenities.”

Meathead Wine Storage is a separate extension of the original Meathead Movers company, which opened in 1997. Meathead Movers became a moving company phenomenon on the Central Coast, helping customers with almost 20,000 moves a year.

Customers can rent a storage unit for just $39 a month. More information about how to purchase a space in the new facility can be found on the Meathead Wine Storage website.
