Softec hosted the 10th Annual Students Robotics EXPO at the Madonna Inn on Monday.
This years theme was “Robots and Sports”.
Hundreds of local students got to try their hands at robotics and meet some of the industry leaders at the student robotics expo.
High school students helped coach younger kids on how to build and compete with robots.
Kids participated in interactive stations with drones, robots, virtual reality and special activities.
High school robotics teams demonstrated their own robots in competitions.
Softec distributed thousands of dollars in software grants to each of the teams.
The non-profit aims to excite the community about technology industries across the central coast.
