6th annual Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival this weekend

Posted

This weekend is the 6th annual Whale Rock Music Festival in Templeton.

The festival started out initially as an anniversary party for Castoro Cellars Vineyards and Winery. It’s since grown into a weekend-long event that attracts hundreds of people.

This year’s festival features musical acts Aloe Blacc and Lake Street Dive, plus a lot of fun beyond wine, beer and music.

"Now the music festival has yoga classes all day both days, we have artists showing art, doing live art, we have a whole kids area called the Kids’ Corner, where they can crawl through an old hollowed-out oak tree," said Luke Udsen, festival promoter. "We have two stages now so there’s music going on all day."

Some tickets are still on sale. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult ticket.
