Kennedy Club Fitness in San Luis Obispo County is looking for first-time Cal Poly students to apply for its new scholarship fund, "805 Local Scholarship Fund."
The gym, owned by Cal Poly alumni Kevin Kennedy, is offering three $1,000 scholarships.
Kennedy Club will give preference to applicants with declared majors in a health-fitness related field of study, living in the 805 area code.
Kennedy attributes his gyms’ success to his time spent at Cal Poly.
