Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening around the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8

All Ford Car Show
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Orcutt Union Plaza, 201 S. Broadway, Orcutt
This car show features Fords, Lincolns, Mercurys, and Edsels, plus vendors, raffle prizes, live music, and a swap meet that starts at 7 a.m.

Sheriff’s Family Day
10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Madonna Meadows, 100 Madonna Rd., San Luis Obispo
Meet members of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, Crime Prevention Unit, Posse, Search & Rescue team, and SWAT. A CHP helicopter, SWAT vehicle, and Jaws of Life equipment will also be on display. Kids 12 and under can receive a free t-shirt, hot dogs, bike raffle ticket, coloring books, and more.

Avocado & Margarita Street Festival
10 a.m.-7:15 p.m.
The Embarcadero, Morro Bay
Sip on margaritas and enjoy a variety of avocado treats while listening to live music, plus community art projects, games, face painting, a petting zoo, balloon animals, a magic show, and contests that include avocado juggling, a strong arm contest, and a sombrero contest.

SATURDAY – SUNDAY

Dog Splash Days
10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Templeton Community Pool, 550 Crocker St., Templeton
Dogs are invited to splash around in the Templeton Pool for one last summer celebration. Doggie swim sessions are scheduled on the hour and are limited to 20 dogs.  
Admission is $20 per dog, per session.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

Touch-A-Truck
9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Santa Barbara City College West Campus Parking Lot 4, 721 Cliff Dr., Santa Barbara
Kids are invited to explore different trucks, emergency and public safety vehicles, construction equipment, and meet local first responders. The event will also include live music, face painting, games, crafts, and food trucks.
Tickets: $5-$25; admission is free for kids under 2

Village Summer Concert Series
1 p.m.
Heritage Square Park, 205 Nelson St., Arroyo Grande
The final concert of this summer series features Mariachi Autlence and the Righetti High School Ballet Folklorico group. Bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the show. Food, drinks, beer, wine, and ice cream will also be for sale.
