Officers are searching for a man reportedly wanted in connection with a hit-and-run in the Montecito area.
The man was last seen in the area of the Montecito Music Academy of the West, located at 1070 Fairway Rd.
He is described as black, 5’9" tall, approximately 30-years-old, with short black hair. He may be wearing a white shirt with blue and white striped shorts and no socks.
Anyone who sees this man in the area is urged to call 911 immediately. Do not attempt to contact him.
A pedestrian was reportedly injured in the hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Butterfly Ln. and Channel Dr. at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
