Dozens came out for the Tour and Taste of the Valley in Orcutt Saturday to enjoy runs, rides and local vendors.
Participants could choose to ride, run or eat.
Rides started with a 100K, then a 50K. Runners had a choice between a 10K and 5K. The courses all ended at the taste, where 40 local vendors gathered in Old Town Orcutt to offer food, beer and wine.
Others slept through the races but came for the local vendors.
"It’s a fantastic way to come out and hang out with your friends for a day, eat food, drink and celebrate the community," said Boys and Girls Club CEO Jeremy Denning.
The event is in its tenth year, benefiting Boys and Girls Clubs across the Santa Maria Valley. Organizers said it raises about $30 thousand a year for nine different after school programs in Guadalupe and Santa Maria.
Over the years, the fundraiser has raised more than $300 thousand for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Santa Maria Valley.
