New airline to offer flights out of Santa Barbara Airport

Contour Airlines will begin service from the Santa Barbara Airport starting in October.

The airport announced Monday that the regional airline will offer daily non-stop flights to Oakland and Las Vegas on its 30-passenger jets.

One-way tickets to Oakland will reportedly start at $79 and tickets to Las Vegas will be $59. Flights will begin on Oct. 16, 2018.

The Santa Barbara Airport also offers flights to Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle via five other carriers: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, and United Airlines.
