Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies were trying to make contact with a woman who was said to be suicidal and appeared to be armed at Cachuma Lake on Thursday afternoon.
Multiple deputies were on scene in the Bradbury Dam area.
Sheriff’s officials said they were also utilizing a helicopter and had called in a negotiation team.
