On Friday afternoon, Lompoc residents are invited to enjoy a mile of car-free space in Old Town Lompoc.
"Open Streets" takes place from 4-8 p.m. on Ocean Ave. from C Street to N Street and on H Street where the Old Town Market takes place.
Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, skate, or ride a scooter to the event, which will include health and wellness activities, vendors, games, sports, live music, and more.
The event on Aug. 3 is free and open to the public.
