The Target store in Santa Maria is undergoing a makeover.
It’s one of more than 300 Target stores across the country being remodeled this year.
Target says no two remodels look alike, but in general, guests can expect to see brighter lighting, a more modern feel, and displays highlighting seasonal trends and exclusive brands. Target says it aims to create a "warm and inviting experience that’s hip and cool."
In all, Target plans to remodel 1,000 of its stores by the end of 2020.
The remodel at the Santa Maria store started a couple of weeks ago and is expected to be complete by the end of October. The store will remain open throughout the process.
