Posted

A missing person alert was issued late Saturday night by the City of San Luis Obispo and the SLO Police Department for a man who was last seen Wednesday in rural Paso Robles.

Matthew Tripp, 29, was reported missing Friday, according to a press release from SLOPD.

Tripp drives a black 2005 GMC Sierra 4WD truck, which has rear end damage.

His last known location was somewhere just north of Templeton, which is where a search and rescue team conducted an extensive search to no avail.

The missing person report identifies Tripp as “at-risk,” but it does not elaborate further.

Tripp is a white male, standing 5’9’’ and weighing 160 lbs.

Anyone with information should contact Detective Walsh at 805-594-8004.

Family members have set up a mealtrain for the community to sing up for days to help search for Tripp and send donations to the family.
