One person has been pronounced dead after a crash on Highway 101 Southbound at the Cuesta Grade.
San Luis Obispo CAL FIRE said it happened at approximately 5:15 p.m. at the Fox Hollow Road intersection. A CAL FIRE engine was driving down the highway after responding to a call at the top of the grade and arrived on the scene of the crash immediately.
Firefighters said one person was pronounced dead at the scene, two others were released without injuries.
California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation. We have called them for more information and will update this story as it becomes available.
