UPDATE (5:50 p.m.) – Santa Barbara County Fire officials say firefighters arrived at the Buellton home Wednesday afternoon to find heavy smoke coming from the back of the house, but they were able to contain the fire to a bedroom and adjacent hallway.The rest of the house sustained smoke and water damage.Two children and an adult who were inside the home when the fire broke out were reportedly able to get out safely; however, they will be displaced. The Red Cross has been called in to assist them.The cause of the fire is under investigation.Structure fire, 330 Arden Ave. Buellton. Fire confined to bedroom and hallway. No injuries.
