Registration for the fall semester is underway at Cuesta College and the school is offering a series of workshops designed for people thinking about attending or who have questions about the college or registration process.One of the prospective student workshops takes place Wednesday, July 25, in room 3131 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the San Luis Obispo campus. Others are taking place Friday and next week. For more information on the workshops, click here. Those planning to attend can walk in and do not need to sign up.Earlier this year, the school announced San Luis Obispo County high school graduates are now eligible to attend fee-free for two years. The deadline for 2018 graduates to apply for the Promise Scholarship is August 1. This fall, Cuesta College is offering hundreds of courses and new classes and certificates in the areas of viticulture, GIS and culinary. The fall semester at Cuesta College kicks off August 13. In Santa Barbara County, registration for the fall semester is also underway at Allan Hancock College, which has locations in Santa Maria and Lompoc. Classes there begin August. 2.
